BTS bursaries are designed to aid non-consultant grade colleagues attend BTS annual congress. For 2025 and 2026, Chiesi have generously agreed to sponsor bursaries for nurses/AHPs/pharmacists to attend the BTS Congress.
For 2025 and 2026, resident doctors (and/or medical students) are eligible to apply for BTS bursaries to support attending the annual congress.
Bursary applications from resident doctors (and/or medical students) will be judged and awarded by Herrick (6 bursaries) and BTPT (6 bursaries) and each bursary will be for a fixed sum of £500. Resident doctors submitting abstracts for the annual congress, at time of abstract submission will be invited to choose if they want to be considered for a Herrick or BTPT bursary.
Resident doctors (and/or medical students) who are not submitting abstracts but seeking support to attend the annual congress can apply directly to Herrick or BTPT.
Only one application per person is permissible and retrospective applications will not be considered.
Closing date will be 9am on the 25th November 2025 and all successful applicants will be notified by email by 19th December 2025.
